About Me

I have a longstanding complementary therapy background with qualifications in Aromatherapy and Sports Massage.
Since 2011 I have undertaken clinical training and worked within the specialised field of lymphoedema both within the NHS and private sector. Working in a variety of settings, such as busy clinics, hospices, care homes, and patient’s homes I have experience of treating patients affected by all types and stages of lymphoedema. I have also co-authored several articles that have been published in UK Healthcare journals.
During this time I have embraced the opportunity to study several clinical techniques of Manual Lymphatic Drainage which has led to a specific focus and passion for the wide-ranging benefits of this gentle yet powerful massage technique.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage methods I have trained in:

  • Fluoroscopy Guided MLD (fill & flush technique): Lymphoedema Training Academy
  • Casley-Smith: University of Glasgow
  • Leduc UK: The Royal Marsden School
For information on these and other clinical MLD methods, please visit the MLD UK website: http://www.mlduk.org.uk/
